The KA-10-TA-WZ case packer is a fully automated line for packaging products on a tray with a rim (display) with the option of applying an outer lid (tray + lid). The machine automatically picks up the cut tray and then bends it to form the shape of a cardboard box. In the next stage, the unit product is grouped and then puts the ready package into the previously formed collective packaging. After bending the inner flaps, the glue is applied. Depending on the height of the tray, the glue system equipped with 2 or 4 glue nozzles applies heated glue to a given field along a given path. After its application, the outer flaps are closed and pressed down. This stage ends with the formation of the tray together with the product, which in this case are most often: jars, cans, pillow-type bags, brick-type bags, doypacks or sachets. The finished packaging with the product in the next stage arrives at the application site of the outer lid. The lid is taken from the magazine, then when picking up and passing over the carton with the product, glue is applied to its wings, and then the gripper forms them into the target shape – at the same time putting them on the collective packaging. The cartoner is equipped with a modern control and visualization system. Thanks to this, the operation and communication with the machine is trouble-free and pleasant. The device enables parameterization of many types of programs, and from the HMI panel, the operator can set packaging parameters, i.e. packaging dimensions, packaging speed, type of adhesive bead, layout in a package, etc. The device is made in many versions of product feeding, depending on its type and efficiency. The introductory system can be based on a belt, index or elevator conveyor, which determines the customer’s unit packaging.
