The capping machine works by transport in a linear system. The packages go on a conveyor, and depending on the type, they can be positioned with side belts that properly separate them and thanks to which they are precisely positioned under the capping head. The closures are fed manually or by a suitable mechanical or vibrating sorter – strictly matched to the type of cap. Capping takes place when the bottle is positioned. The capping head with the cap already taken from the cassette slides down through the movement in the vertical axis and caps the packaging with the appropriate torque set from the HMI panel. The capping machine can work with various threaded caps depending on the type and diameter – push-pull, safe, disc-top, flip-top, regular. The machine is equipped with a closing control system that informs the operator about an incorrectly closed product. The capping machine is equipped with a quick-change system of capping head and cassettes for a given cap. The entire tooling change closes in a few minutes.
